I’m a self-made entrepreneur, I’ve been working with cosmetics, fashion and interiors all my life
From running stores, to working as CEO and developing concepts and brands, I think my success is down to a strong ‘gut feeling’ and decisive leadership. My catchphrase is “I deliverâ€.
These days a man builds his ‘personal brand’ with the way he dresses. When I get a request to style a client, it’s usually not because they lack style, but time. But, of course, I like to challenge them and the way they think about their personal style. It’s about bringing out something they already have and making it stronger, to define who they are, or could be – a part that they may not have thought of, or even known about.
My favorite Scandinavian accessories designer has to be Ternsjö Garveri. Their finely crafted belts, briefcases and wallets are all made in Sweden. Stocking locally manufactured items is really important to us, it’s at the heart of our brand personality.
I think Scandanavian fashion has so much to offer the rest of the world. I guess that simplicity is our trademark, we have a way of combining pieces that is easy to wear.
We’ve seen a shift in the last few years as men are starting to tell a story with how we dress. Tailor-made suits have seen a big revival, and made to measure is once again in vogue. Accessories are increasingly important for men, and they are now choosing what they wear, and how they wear it, far more carefully.
